About

Welcome to the Real Life Homeschool Hub!

Hi, I’m Elizabeth. Homeschooling is something I had always wanted to do, but if I’m being honest, I questioned my ability a lot—in fact, when I first considered it, I was full of doubts. Would I be enough? Could I really teach my kids? Would they miss out on something important?

But as our family’s journey unfolded, I began to see that as much as I didn’t think I knew what I was doing, the more we just found our rhythm and life began to run smoothly. One of the best things we have been given it a variety of gifts I never knew was possible with our homeschool journey. A gift of time together. A gift of watching my children’s eyes light up when a new idea “clicked.” A gift of weaving learning into our everyday lives—whether around the kitchen table, in the backyard, or on a spontaneous trip to the library.

Of course, it hasn’t been perfect. There have been messy mornings, unfinished projects, and days when I wondered if anyone was learning anything at all. But through it all, I’ve learned this: homeschooling isn’t about having it all together. It’s about showing up, being present, and growing right alongside our kids.

That’s why I started this space—to share the 13 years of lessons, resources, and encouragement I’ve picked up along the way.

Here you’ll find:
✨ Practical tools that make planning and teaching simpler
✨ Ideas for making learning hands-on and fun
✨ Honest encouragement for the hard days (because they do come)
✨ Reminders that real-life homeschooling counts—dirty dishes and all

This isn’t just my story—it’s ours. Every family that chooses homeschooling is writing their own unique chapter, and together, we can encourage one another, swap ideas, and remind each other that we’re not alone on this journey.

So, welcome. Pull up a chair, take what you need, and share what you’ve learned. I’m so glad you’re here—you belong in this community. 💛
